The challenge

What wasn’t working

Energy operators needed one place to monitor and manage solar, battery and generator assets across organisations — without drowning in tables or fragile one-off tools. Portfolio teams were stitching telemetry, maps and financial views by hand, so incident response lagged and operational cost climbed with every new site. We were asked to turn that sprawl into a durable multi-tenant console operators would trust every day.

What we built

Our answer

Our team delivered a React 18 + TypeScript front-end with feature-based architecture, OpenAPI-driven types via Orval, Mapbox maps, Chart.js dashboards, advanced data tables and CASL permissions across multi-org tenants. We shaped the UI around daily operator workflows — site health, fleet overview and financial signals — not demo screens. The result is a long-lived product surface designed for continuous iteration over a year-plus engagement.

Results

What changed

Operators now run hundreds of sites and millions of data points daily from one interface. Portfolio teams reported ~40% lower operational cost to run the portfolio, faster incident response when something breaks, and clearer financial views for leadership. The console remains the operational home for the renewable fleet — not a one-off dashboard project.
